Remembering V Tech With More Deaths

32 People Shot, 6 Killed, In Violent Chicago Weekend

“There are just too many weapons here,” Weis said at a news conference Sunday. “Too many guns, too many gangs.”

I’m surprised this news isn’t higher up on the US news, especially since it happened on the week of the V Tech anniversary.

(by the way, the thing that was supposed to happen last friday will happen this friday).

State Of Texas Kidnaps 400 Children

NOTE: This post isn’t about whether or not polygamy is right or wrong, but about abuse and the government’s role in how to deal with abuse.

Most of you have probably heard of the Fundamentalist Mormon Church being raided and the people being put into “shelters” for “protection.” If you haven’t heard about it, there is a quick synopsis here.

I don’t think America has violated their own citizen’s human rights in this way since the 1960s.

Let’s break it down:

  1. Definition of Abuse: Abuse is a general term for the use or treatment of something (person, thing, idea, etc.) that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person or thing, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) or is unlawful or wrongful. (From Wikipedia)
  2. Goal: The State Of Texas wants to find victims of child abuse and sexual abuse at this ranch.
  3. Method: Separate all children over the age of 4 from their parents in hopes of getting more information.
  4. Violation 1- Hypocrisy: Separating a child from their mother, pointing guns at them, and putting them in internment are some of the worst forms of child abuse. The State of Texas has in essence kidnapped 400 children.
  5. Violation 2- Inconsistency: The State Of Texas raided this compound with the notion that it wanted to end and prosecute anyone committing sexual abuse, yet virtually every community in America has some form of sexual abuse. If the State of Texas wants to raid an entire community off the notion of sexual abuse, they must raid ALL communities that have reported sexual abuse, which is impossible because those committing the raids must also raid their own communities and selves.
  6. Conclusion- By raiding and disbanding an otherwise peaceful community, the State of Texas has instated a form of internment, child abuse, and maternal abuse. Separating a child from her mother is a form of kidnapping. Therefore, The State of Texas has committed heinous crimes against its residents, giving reason to have the State of Texas be put under trial.

On polygamy, here is all I have to say- the US allows abortion based on the idea that it is a women’s right to choose, but the US won’t allow a women to choose whether they want a monogamous or polygamous life. There’s something wrong there.

I can’t believe all of this is happening in my state only one hour west of where I live. May Allah help those who have been separated and bring comfort to the aching hearts ofthose mothers and children.

Check Out projectMECCA This Friday

The reason I haven’t been posting a lot lately is because I have been working on 3 projectMECCA projects simultaneously. I can’t really talk about them yet, but 2 of them are really big. The minor one is almost done (probably by tomorrow), and 1 of the 2 big ones will be revealed this Friday.

Presidential Candidates On Islam

DEMOCRATS

Barack Obama

Barack Obama (D) was at the Compassion Forum shown on CNN (YouTube Link Of Whole Show ). here is what he said about Islam:

Barack Obama At Compassion Forum: On Islam

Heres what I noticed:

  • He says “Muslim”, not “Muzlim” or “Moozlim”
  • He seems to understand Islam better than other American politicians.
  • He said Islam shouldn’t be painted with a broad brush.
  • He seems to affirm the idea of Islam needing to be changed (which I disagree with [see below]).

Hillary Clinton

I couldn’t find anything post 9/11 on Hillary’s Website, Google, Wikipedia, or YouTube about Hillary Clinton’s views on what she thinks about Muslims or foreign policy on Muslims, except that she is “an emphatic, unwavering supporter of Israel’s safety and security.”

Pre-9/11, she did help arrange the first [[Eid Al Fitr]] at the White House. She received a Qur’an, but said that most of what she and her husband know about Islam comes from her daughter Chelsea. She has also stated before that Islam is the fastest growing religion in America.

What she thinks about Islam today is a mystery (which is sad considering she is a Presidential Candidate for the most powerful positiion in the world.

REPUBLICANS

John McCain

Republican presidential candidate John McCain says a candidate’s ability to uphold the nation’s Judeo-Christian tradition should be a top consideration for voters. That’s why, he says, the thought of a Muslim in the White House makes him nervous. But he does say that there are a lot of good principles in Islam.

John McCain On Islam

Tom Tancredo

He isn’t important, but his views definitively makes him a character. Here is what Tom Tancredo (R) had to say about Islam:

Tom Tancredo on Radical Islam

Yea, he did say Islam is inherently evil. Say hello to the American Geert Wilders.

But thats not all. Here is how he thinks America should deal with Al Qaeda:

Talk show host Pat Campbell asked the Littleton Republican how the country should respond if terrorists struck several U.S. cities with nuclear weapons.

“Well, what if you said something like — if this happens in the United States, and we determine that it is the result of extremist, fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites,” Tancredo answered.

“You’re talking about bombing Mecca,” Campbell said.

“Yeah,” Tancredo responded.’

Link

Might I add that Tancredo was rated one of the 10 worst Congressman by Rolling Stone.

Rudy Giuliani

“We stood face to face with those people and forces who hijacked not just airplanes but a religion and turned it into a creed of terrorism dedicated to eradicating us and our way of life.”

“Islam is a Great Religion”

Link

He says a lot about Islam, but then came out with this TV advertisement.

Rudy Giuliani TV Ad

Readers can decide what he really supports. Personally I think he is a sell out, but at least he’s better than Tancredo.

Ron Paul

“They don’t come here to attack us because we’re rich and we’re free. They come here and attack us because we’re over there.”

Ron Paul believes (I think accurately) that the best way to deal with Islam, especially in the Middle East, is to leave it alone and let Muslims control their own destiny. The following video is probably my most favorite YouTube video of 2007.
